Links to more MySQL Info

There are a lot of resources available on the internet to help you learn how to use MySQL. We'll start with the best sources, and move onto others.

MySQL.com
This is the first place you should go if you want to find out more about MySQL. These are the people who wrote it. The two areas to go to are:
  1. MySQL Documentation
The MySQL documentation is awesome. Everything is explained thoroughly, with lots of examples. I personally prefer the pdf version.
  1. MySQL Downloads
This is where you go to download the free (GPL) version of the database.

There is a lot of excellent content at the MySQL site. I'll leave it up to you to find it. ;-)

OnLAMP.com
This site is part of the O'Reilly Network. It covers the most popular way people implement MySQL - as part of a Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP-PERL-Python site (L A M P - cute, huh?). They have excellent articles and tutorials.
DevShed - MySQL
Another site devoted to MySQL. Excellent content, some of it quite advanced.
